The Word of God admonishes all His people to CALL UPON HIS NAME." To do so it helps to understand His attributes.
"And they that know His Name will put their trust in Him: for You, Lord, has not forsaken them that seek thee." (Psalm 9:10)

ELOHIM:
ELOHIM:Creator; sovereign of the universe, and life, One who covenants to preserve His creation.

Elohim is mainly concerned with the creation and preservation of the world and His works.
He assumes a great love toward all creation.

ADONI is used hundreds of time in relation to Jesus Himself.

Represents the One who gives gifts and equips His servants for service.

Known as God who expresses Himself in essential moral and spiritual attributes.
Reveals His love as conditioned upon spiritual and moral attributes.
Jehovah places man under moral obligations with a warning of punishment for disobedience.
JEHOVAH is derived from the Hebrew verb "havah" meaning "to be" or "being." Used 6,823 times in the Old Testament.
